Scientists are creating an intelligent video monitoring system for safety at oil stations

Tomsk scientists have completed the first stage of the development of automatic video monitoring system for production processes using artificial intelligence. The new technology is planned to be implemented at oil loading stations to improve the safety of operations.

The system processes the video stream from the cameras, recording key points related to the operation of tankers and the actions of personnel. It checks compliance with regulations and issues warnings in potentially dangerous situations, automatically blocking the possibility of their development.

By 2025, it is planned to introduce a prototype at one of the stations for trial operation.
